These terms govern every order placed with us. Please read them before you buy — placing an order means you accept them.
1 · Who you are contracting with
Dar Duha Perfumes, trading as Duha, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are not registered for VAT in the UAE.
2 · How a contract is formed
Our store is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract exists only when we send you an order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order — the item is out of stock, the price was displayed in error, or we cannot verify the payment — we will tell you promptly and refund in full. We will not quietly substitute a different product.
3 · Products
- Fragrance is a natural product. Colour and the way a scent develops can vary slightly between batches, and behave differently on different skin. This is not a defect.
- Photographs are representative. Screens render colour differently.
- We describe concentration and volume accurately. If a description is wrong, that is a ground for return under DUHA-POL-01.
4 · Price and VAT
Prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED). As we are not registered for VAT, no VAT is added: the price shown is the price you pay. Delivery within the UAE is free. If a price is listed in obvious error we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel without charge.
5 · Payment
We accept debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the other cards shown at checkout) and express wallets such as Google Pay where your device supports them. Payment is taken in full when you place your order. Title in the goods passes to you on full payment; risk passes on delivery.
6 · Delivery
Delivery terms are set out in DUHA-POL-06. Within the UAE we deliver within 7 days of your order. If we miss that, you may cancel the order and we will refund it in full.
7 · Cancellation, returns and refunds
An order may be cancelled at any time before dispatch. After dispatch, returns and refunds are governed by DUHA-POL-01, which sets out the cases in which we refund and those in which we cannot.
8 · Age
You must be 18 or over to buy from us.
9 · Safety and proper use
Fragrance is for external use on skin or clothing. It is flammable. Keep it away from eyes, from heat and from children. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. We recommend a patch test — see DUHA-POL-08.
10 · Our liability
We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that UAE consumer protection law does not permit to be excluded.
11 · Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Where such an event materially affects your order you may cancel it and receive a full refund.
12 · Intellectual property
The Duha name, the Arabic wordmark, the palm-and-diamond emblem, all artwork and all site content belong to us or are used under licence. They may not be copied, adapted or used commercially without our written permission. See DUHA-POL-11.
13 · Resale
Our products are sold for personal use. Commercial resale, decanting or repackaging requires our written agreement. We do not authorise third-party sellers unless we say so in writing.
14 · Complaints
Tell us first — see DUHA-POL-09. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism on 800 1222.
15 · Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction. These terms are published in Arabic and English. In the event of a discrepancy before a UAE court, the Arabic text prevails.
