We want the store to be usable by everyone, in both languages. This is where we say what we have done, what we know is not yet good enough, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.
1 · What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
2 · What is in place
- Text contrast is measured, not guessed. White on our teal is 7.8:1 and ink on white is 16.3:1 — both AAA.
- Our gold is used only for rules, borders and badges, never as body text, because it does not meet the contrast threshold at small sizes.
- The whole store works in Arabic with full right-to-left layout, not a mirrored afterthought.
- Every interface element can be reached with a keyboard, and the focus outline is visible.
- Images carry alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Motion respects the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without the layout breaking.
3 · Known limitations
- Checkout and payment pages are provided by Shopify and Stripe and follow their own accessibility standards, which we do not control.
- Some older product photographs may lack detailed alternative text.
4 · Tell us
If any part of the store is difficult to use, tell us on +971 50 79 33 929 or at duha.perfume@gmail.com and describe what happened. We will reply within 2 working days and, if we cannot fix it quickly, we will offer another way to complete your purchase — including simply taking your order over WhatsApp.
